Facepalmed so hard I almost gave myself a concussion after reading some of the one star reviews on Netflix for The Intouchables… Why did the reviewers give a one star rating to a film that is a “Best Foreign Language Film” nominee for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards and 2013 BAFTAs? Because it is in French. One of the reviews even boils down to “This is the USA, who wants to watch a film in French!?” Somehow several people “didn’t know” the film was in French, even though the popup you get when you mouse over the film on Netflix looks like this (and the full page for the film has even more information):
